The Baby Borrowers

The Baby Borrowers is a reality television show that features five teenage couples who think having or taking care of a child is easy. They are told they are going to look after babies, then toddlers, preteens, teenagers & then elderly people. I felt that some of the teens in the show where not as ready as they thought. In the first episode they started off by going to pregnancy classes where the girls were instructed to wear a pregnancy suit for the day. One couple had an issues where the teen mom didnt what to wear the pregnancy suit. I felt it was very stupid and her actions were childish. Her boyfriend ended up wearing the suit to class to make his girlfriend feel better. The next day, five parents come & drop off there babies. The teens look after the babies while the parents watch from a tv in another house. When the parents felt the teens where not doing a good job they intervened. One Couple had a baby that would not eat and the teen mother got so frustrated that she stopped feeding him. When the baby's real mother saw this she come over to the house and told the teen that she can not just stop, she needs to make sure that the baby eats. The teen mother got even more frustated and did not want anything to do with the baby. i thought this was riduculous because the baby doesn't know any better and he cant feed himself. As the mother she is responisble if they baby eats or not, which he needs to! I can see why the teen got so angry but whats she needs to realize is that in real life you can not do that, she not act so childish when handling a baby. Also, what she needs to realize is she was handling someone elses kid. Im pretty sure she wouldnt want someone to just do whatever they wanted with her kid!
