Double Deuce

I think Double Deuce was an OK book. Dont really like the detective genre that much. It was an interesting story on how a 14 year girl and her 3 month old baby gets shot. Hawk & Spencer are hired to find out why she got shot. I didnt really get into the story but from what i read it was alright. Hawk got on my nerves with his 1970's lingo and from what i seen on Youtube about the 1980's show, I think Hawk is gay.

The Baby Borrowers

The Baby Borrowers is a reality television show that features five teenage couples who think having or taking care of a child is easy. They are told they are going to look after babies, then toddlers, preteens, teenagers & then elderly people. I felt that some of the teens in the show where not as ready as they thought. In the first episode they started off by going to pregnancy classes where the girls were instructed to wear a pregnancy suit for the day. One couple had an issues where the teen mom didnt what to wear the pregnancy suit. I felt it was very stupid and her actions were childish. Her boyfriend ended up wearing the suit to class to make his girlfriend feel better. The next day, five parents come & drop off there babies. The teens look after the babies while the parents watch from a tv in another house. When the parents felt the teens where not doing a good job they intervened. One Couple had a baby that would not eat and the teen mother got so frustrated that she stopped feeding him. When the baby's real mother saw this she come over to the house and told the teen that she can not just stop, she needs to make sure that the baby eats. The teen mother got even more frustated and did not want anything to do with the baby. i thought this was riduculous because the baby doesn't know any better and he cant feed himself. As the mother she is responisble if they baby eats or not, which he needs to! I can see why the teen got so angry but whats she needs to realize is that in real life you can not do that, she not act so childish when handling a baby. Also, what she needs to realize is she was handling someone elses kid. Im pretty sure she wouldnt want someone to just do whatever they wanted with her kid!

Why I like America's Next Top Model!

America’s Next Top Model inspires me because I want to be in the fashion industry. America’s Next Top Model is a reality TV show where women from around the nation compete for the title of America’s Next Top Model. The show was created by supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret model, Tyra Banks. Tyra’s role on top model is the head judge and executive producer. Tyra also has a panel of other judges that have varied from different celebrities such as Kimora Lee Simmon and Janice Dickenson, but the main judges consist of runway coach J. Alexander, fashion photographer Nigel Baker and photo shoot director Jay Manuel. America’s Next Top Model has been running for twelve seasons, since May 2003 and has a spinoff show called Modelville, which consist of former top model contestants and shows there journey in the fashion world after top model. I like America’s Next Top Model because it gives you an insight on what goes on in the fashion world. My career goal is to be in the fashion industry and this show really helps
